It will NOT run, nor get a smaller Converter because it will not work either! Static Phase Converters DO NOT generate the 3rd Phase!  >Your Motor HP has to be between the Static Phase Converters HP to run properly. > If you are using a Motor Starter make sure the Motor Starter's Contactor's coil is fed from L1 & L2 (230VAC) otherwise it will not start. > You Can Run: Lathes not fitted with clutch, Milling & Drilling machines, Saws, etc.   WARNING > For Air Compressors, blowers, water pumps and hydraulic pumps with pulley, the Motor's pulley diameter MUST BE REDUCED 1/3 or a 50% larger Motor can be fitted.
