Starfish Throw Pillow

This beautiful hand embroidered starfish pillow was created to be a reminder of the impact you can make by "helping one". A purchase from Gift of Hope is much like the story of the boy who was throwing starfish back into the ocean after a high tide had washed them ashore. At the same time, an older man was walking down the beach.  He scoffed at the boy for even trying to help because there were miles and miles of washed up starfish dying up and down the beach.  The boy picked up another starfish and threw it into the surf, smiling he said, “I made a difference for that one.” Every purchase from Gift of Hope makes a difference.  Even though the statistics stacked against our artisans are horrific, every job we create is like tossing that starfish back into the sea for another chance.  A chance for family, a chance for dignified employment, and a chance to live with purpose.   Remember this story and make an impact with our Starfish Throw Pillow.  Hand-stitched by disabled mamas in Haiti Made in Haiti Every pillow helps a mother provide for her children Approximately 18"x18"
