Starborn Pro Plug System for Deckorators Summit Decking

The Starborn Pro Plug® System for Deckorators Summit Decking is a concealed fastening solution designed to provide the strength of traditional face fastening with the clean appearance of a hidden fastener deck surface. The system includes specially engineered deck screws, color-matched composite plugs, and a proprietary setting tool that ensures screws are driven to a consistent depth. Each plug is precision-cut from genuine Deckorators composite decking material, allowing it to blend naturally with the surrounding boards for a seamless and professional finish. During installation, screws are driven through the deck board using the Pro Plug Auto-Stop™ setting tool, which automatically stops at the proper depth to prevent over-driving and protect the board surface. Once the screw is installed, a matching composite plug is inserted into the hole and tapped flush with the deck surface to conceal the fastener. This process provides a secure connection to the joists while maintaining a smooth, screw-free appearance across the deck surface. Designed specifically for composite decking applications, the Pro Plug System is ideal for areas where hidden clip systems cannot be used, such as board ends, stair treads, and perimeter boards. By combining reliable fastening strength with a refined finished look, the Starborn Pro Plug System offers an efficient and attractive installation solution for Deckorators Summit decking projects.
