Mystical Aphrodisiac: Star Ruby Sphere

A powerful aphrodisiac, Rubies enhance awareness of sexual and mystical perception. Historically worn by both warriors and priestesses, Ruby activates your Base Chakra, your Life Force Energy, with a renewed sense of sexuality and sensuality.  Rubies are extremely helpful in diminishing feelings of sexual trauma or dysfunction and notions of self-harm, including sexual shame or self-consciousness. Release / Heal the negative attachments to sex - that even without a traumatic physical event, we are all societally conditioned to have, esp. those of marginalized genders or sexual orientations - to fully enjoy sex and intimacy on physical and metaphysical levels, and owning your own sexuality.  Optimizing your sexual nature for your own pleasure is a powerful magic.  Most effective at the Full Moon (the next will be the Snow Moon on February 16), Rubies are also protective against negative magic being cast upon you, and are excellent for preventing nightmares. Historically worn to ward off pestilence, disease, and for protection in battle, an ancient Burmese legend believed that rubies would “make one completely invulnerable”.  Rubies have associations with both Mars Ares and Venus Aphrodite. I keep pieces on both altars in my home: Venus for passion and intimacy, Mars for black magic protection. I do not recommend carrying pieces consecrated or dedicated to Ares on your person (leave it on your altar or ritual space).  ** Please read the Haute Macabre Policies page to be informed on shipping and purchase agreements.
