Carbon Filter for 1200HS/2000HS Series

Standard Carbon Filters These are coal based carbon filters that are used as our standard filter in our 600, 1200 and 2000 series units. Carbon is one of the most widely used materials (sometimes referred to as charcoal) for adsorption of the majority of gases, VOC’s and odors. Triple Blend This new adsorptive mixed media incorporates the carbon, alumina and zeolite all in one filter. Alumina (potassium permanganate) is a catalyst. Zeolite is a mineral that has a great adsorption capacity for ammonia, and is a great deodorizer. The triple blend filter is the best solution for applications where formaldehyde, ammonia and other gases are present. Often used in new homes for first 6 months to a year.
