Thunderbird's 316 stainless steel inside wall parapet roof drain mounts through the parapet and ties into your interior leader pipe for a clean drainage path off any flat roof. The sandblasted flashing grabs onto waterproofing membranes without relying on sealant — you get a mechanical bond that stays watertight. 316-grade stainless won't pit in salt air, won't corrode in chemical environments, and won't leave green oxide streaks down your facade like copper does over time. Features: 316 Stainless Steel Construction: Marine-grade stainless — not the 304 you'll find in most competing units. Handles coastal exposure, industrial environments, and decades of freeze-thaw without losing integrity. Sandblasted Flashing Surface: The rough profile gives waterproofing membranes something to grab onto. Lap your membrane over the flange and the seal is tight from day one. Multiple Size Options: Available in 2", 3", and 4" outlets to match your existing leader pipe. Optional Overflow Feature: An overflow option gives you a backup drainage path during heavy events or if a clogged primary drain goes unnoticed. Worth adding on any roof where ponding water becomes a dead-load concern before somebody catches it. Powder-Coated Cast Aluminum Strainer: Pops out for easy cleaning, keeps leaves and debris from clogging the outlet. Powder coat holds up and looks clean. Made in the USA: Built here, shipped from here. Available in TPO Clad & PVC Clad: Need to heat-weld directly to a single-ply membrane? Grab the TPO or PVC clad version instead. Applications: Parapet Wall Drainage: Built for flat roofs with parapet walls — commercial, multi-family, or residential builds with a parapet detail. The inside-wall outlet keeps all plumbing internal, so there's no exposed piping on the exterior. If you're swapping out an old copper unit on a light-colored facade and you're done with the green streaking, this is the move. Stainless steel holds up where other metals quit. Pick your outlet size, decide if you want the overflow, and match the flange to your membrane system. Call us if you need help sorting out which configuration fits your assembly.
