Staghound Mk I (close support)

The miniature Staghound MKI (close support) depicts a variant of the Staghound armored car equipped with a 3-inch howitzer for close-range firepower. This version was designed to provide infantry with direct support by delivering high-explosive shells, making it effective in urban combat or against fortified positions. Retaining the vehicle's mobility and armor, the close support variant was valued for its ability to assist frontline troops with heavier firepower than the standard version.
