Stage One BMW Speaker Upgrade for E81/E87

Stage One BMW Speaker Upgrade for E81/E87 Sold by AudioSellerz.com The Stage One BMW Speaker Upgrade for E81/E87 is a vehicle-specific BAVSound Stage One speaker upgrade for E81/E87. Audio Sellerz carries this kit for customers who want a real speaker-performance upgrade while keeping the factory-style mounting locations, factory controls, and clean OEM appearance. Fitment Note: The supplied BAVSound information excludes 1996-1999 BMW 3 Series / M3 applications from the general plug-and-play statement for this kit. What the Stage One Upgrade Is Designed to Improve BAVSound developed the Stage One system around better clarity, a wider usable frequency range, and a more balanced reproduction of bass, midrange, and treble than the compatible factory speakers. The goal is not simply more volume. The Stage One design is intended to give vocals more definition, bring out more detail in instruments, improve high-frequency clarity, and stay cleaner as listening volume increases. Woven Fiberglass Cones The supplied BAVSound product information identifies woven fiberglass cones as a core Stage One material. A light, rigid cone helps the driver move with less unwanted flex, which supports cleaner reproduction when the speaker is asked to play louder or handle more complex musical passages. Butyl-Rubber Surrounds Stage One speakers use butyl-rubber surrounds. The surround controls the outer edge of the cone as it moves in and out, so its flexibility and stability affect both sound quality and long-term durability. Silk-Composite Tweeters Applicable Stage One configurations use silk-composite tweeters. BAVSound uses this tweeter design to produce smoother, more detailed high-frequency output without changing the vehicle to a universal aftermarket tweeter installation. Factory-Matched Size, Shape, Connections, Impedance & Efficiency This is one of the most important parts of the BAVSound Stage One design. BAVSound states that the replacement speakers are engineered around the factory speaker's size, shape, connectors, impedance, and efficiency. That means the kit is not just a generic speaker that happens to be the same diameter. Matching the physical dimensions helps the speaker use the original mounting location. Matching the connector avoids unnecessary wiring changes on compatible applications. Matching impedance and efficiency matters because the factory head unit or amplifier was designed around a specific electrical load and speaker sensitivity. What the Kit Replaces & Includes Replaces every speaker in your BMW (except subs), and includes everything you need except basic tools, available separately. Stage One is the main BAVSound speaker upgrade line. The factory bass/woofer locations are generally handled separately by BAVSound Ghost products unless this specific listing states otherwise. Installation Details BAVSound describes the standard Stage One installation as plug-and-play: remove the original speaker, unplug it, bolt the vehicle-specific replacement into the original location, and reconnect using the factory-style connection. The upgrade is designed to be reversible because it does not require a permanent universal-speaker conversion. The supplied product information states that step-by-step instructions are included and that many Stage One applications can be completed with basic tools in a few hours. Actual labor varies by chassis and interior disassembly requirements. Before ordering, compare the exact chassis code, body style, production range, and factory audio package shown in this product title with your vehicle. BMW and MINI systems can look similar but use different speaker configurations depending on whether the car has Base Audio, Standard Hi-Fi, Harman Kardon, or another factory option. Why Vehicle-Specific Speaker Design Matters A universal speaker can require brackets, connector adapters, wiring changes, or custom mounting work. A vehicle-specific Stage One kit is designed around the original application so the customer can improve the speaker hardware without turning the install into a full custom fabrication project. This makes Stage One especially useful for daily drivers and premium vehicles where retaining the original interior appearance matters.
