Crescent Moon Cricket Bit

Enhance your bit collection with the Crescent Large Chain Link Ported Cricket Bit, featuring a unique sweet iron chain port and a copper roller mouthpiece. This design promotes comfort and flexibility, making it ideal for busy horses that enjoy playing with something in their mouths. The ported part of the mouthpiece applies pressure to the horse’s palate, encouraging vertical collection and bending at the poll, while the chain rests comfortably across the horse’s tongue and bars. The locked gag action and 4 ½” shanks make this bit an excellent choice for horses transitioning from a snaffle. It still supports direct rein pull and provides effective rein pressure. Sweet iron mouthpiece promotes salivation for a supple and comfortable fit. This material is designed to rust naturally and imparts a sweet taste to the horse. Stainless steel cheeks resist the harshness of the elements. Great for colts, seasoned horses, or leisure riding.
