Small Stacked Ruffle Cap

This cap features a generously sized caul with two ruffles at the edge, designed to frame the face with soft structure. The layered ruffles create a full, balanced silhouette that complements a range of gown styles. Made from crisp linen organdy, it holds its shape well while remaining lightweight. The sheer quality of the fabric allows for a refined appearance, particularly suited to impressions where a more finished look is desired. Caps of this style are associated with middle- to upper-class women, where finer materials and more elaborate shaping were commonly seen. The full caul accommodates dressed or styled hair, contributing to the overall form. One size fits all, with fuller hairstyles helping to achieve the intended shape. The cap comes without the ribbon trim.
