STACEY

STACEY is Portrait Coffee's tribute to boldness—both in the cup and in spirit. This Colombia Nariño showcases the rich, volcanic terroir of Buesaco Community producers working at 2,000 meters, where cooler temperatures and mineral-dense soils create coffees with exceptional body and complexity. Portrait roasts this washed-process lot to a medium-dark profile that amplifies its natural richness without sacrificing clarity. Tasting NotesExpect a luxurious, smoke-kissed cup with layers of toasted hazelnut and buttery caramel. The body is full and mouth-coating, with a velvety texture that carries through a long, warming finish. Acidity is mellow and balanced—present enough to keep the cup lively, but never sharp. This is a coffee that rewards those who appreciate depth and character in their daily ritual, with a subtle sweetness that emerges as the cup cools. Brew MethodsSTACEY shines across multiple brew methods. As espresso, it delivers a syrupy shot with pronounced chocolate and nut tones—perfect for milk drinks or straight. In a French press or Aeropress, the fuller body comes forward beautifully, creating a comforting, campfire-like experience. Pour-over methods like V60 bring out more nuance in the caramel notes while maintaining that signature smokiness. If you love medium-dark roasts but still want specialty-grade quality, this is your coffee.
