Michael, also referred to as Mikael, is “who is like El?” (El being another name for God”) and is also called Saint Michael. Michael is called Mika’il in Muslim works. Michael is described as an angel of benevolence in the scriptures of the Bible, the Qur’an, and the Torah. Michael is the great prince, appointed over the seventh heaven. This archangel is one of the seven archangels and one of the most venerated guardians in the Christian faith. Archangel Michael is considered the primary angel of protection and justice. Call on Archangel Michael to bring feelings of comfort and safety.  In addition to the protective energy of Archangel Michael, call on the help of this archangel to remove fears, phobias, and obsessions. Archangel Michael can help you to cut the cords of attachment to negative people, places, and situations that are no longer for your highest good. Ask Archangel Michael to help you see life from a higher and greater perspective. This archangel can help you strengthen your innate intuition and the trust and faith you have in yourself to use your intuition." -Escerpted from The Essential Guide to Archangels and Saints by Margaret Ann Lembo
