St Croix Rouge V Boat Casting Rods

Prepare to take on the nearshore and boat-based saltwater grind with the St. Croix Rogue V Boat Casting Rods. Designed for anglers who demand both strength and sensitivity, these rods are built on St. Croix’s all-new Matrix Composite blank technology. This blank blends woven E-glass, mid-modulus SCII carbon, and ART scrim to deliver staggering durability without adding girth. The result is a rod that holds up to serious abuse—repeated strikes, rough seas, heavy fish—yet still feels lean and nimble in your hand. Engineered for Precision, Sensitivity, and Uniform Action What powers the Rogue V Boat series’ performance is a suite of advanced rod-building technologies. The Matrix Composite blank works in tandem with St. Croix’s Fortified Resin System (FRS), Taper Enhancement Technology (TET), and Advanced Reinforcing Technology (ART). Together, they create rod walls that are uniformly shaped, resist ovaling, flex predictably, and enhance tip sensitivity—so you can feel every knock or pick-up even while fighting drag. Salt-Proven Hardware and Comfort Features The Rogue V Boat rods are outfitted with K-style stainless-steel guide frames using Alconite rings—these are strong and corrosion-resistant yet lighter than many traditional guide systems. Reel seats combine nylon with stainless steel locking nuts for secure attachment under load. The handles are full or modified EVA grips with extended foregrips, shaped to fight fatigue but still offer sure handling during extended sessions on deck. Non-marring rubber gimbals are included, keeping the rod locked in holders or fighting belts without damaging components. Warranty and Value You Can Trust St. Croix backs the Rogue V Boat Casting Rods with its five-year transferable warranty, supported by its “Superstar Service” team. The rods are handcrafted in North America with design oversight from Park Falls, Wisconsin, and manufacturing in facilities that preserve high quality standards. With that construction pedigree plus all the premium materials and components, Rogue V Boat offers an elevated saltwater rod performance for anglers who want rugged reliability without compromise.
