SRAM Maven Silver Disc Brake

SRAM has dubbed the Maven the most powerful brake they have ever made. Designed to accommodate the most aggressive downhill and endurance trail riders, the power of the Maven leads to more efficiency and better turning. Compared to the SRAM Code, one of the most powerful breaks on the market, the Maven is 50 percent more powerful. It also takes 32 percent lighter force than the Code to generate the same power. This makes the aforementioned power usable and not just a number. This reduces fatigue and increases control, allowing riders to focus on the rowdy course ahead. These brakes retain the same level of heat, avoiding peaks and valleys of hot and cold, helping them function properly in any conditions. A large portion of the power found in the SRAM Maven brake comes from their four huge pistons which measure 18-19.5mm. This creates more force and friction against the pads with less effort. Levers are designed to work with these larger pistons, delivering power in a progressive curve for more control. The use of four caliper bolts also helps prevent the loss of power. Having so much power gives riders more options, including a wider range of rotor sizes and brake pad types. This is the Maven Silver Disc Brake which features one disc brake as well as everything you need to mount your brake at a reasonable cost. The SRAM Maven Silver Disc Brake makes it easier than ever to get the power you need.
