SRAM Force AXS Rear Derailleur Medium Cage D1

SRAM Force AXS Rear Derailleur Medium Cage D1 brings SRAM's wireless AXS shifting to the Force groupset without the compromises of a mechanical setup. There's no cable to route and no housing to maintain — shift commands travel wirelessly from the AXS shifters, with customization handled through the SRAM AXS app. The medium cage extends compatibility up to a 36-tooth max cog, covering cassette ranges from 10-28T through 10-36T on a 2x, 12-speed drivetrain, so you can run a wider range without stepping up to a mountain-style derailleur. An aluminum cage and steel pulley bearings keep the derailleur light without sacrificing durability, and SRAM's chain management technology keeps tension on the chain through rough pavement and gravel sectors, cutting down on chain slap and drivetrain noise. It's built to run SRAM's Road Flattop chain, matching the rest of the Force AXS ecosystem. Sitting between RED AXS and Rival AXS in SRAM's road lineup, Force AXS pairs wireless shifting and X-Range gearing with a more attainable price point than RED. This rear derailleur is a straightforward option for riders upgrading an existing Force or RED AXS setup to a wider-range cassette, or for anyone building a new road bike who wants electronic shifting without going all the way to RED.
