SRAM Eagle T-Type PowerLock Flattop Connector Link - 12-Speed | 4 Pack

What does the SRAM Eagle T-Type PowerLock Flattop Connector Link do differently? The SRAM Eagle T-Type PowerLock Flattop Connector Link is the correct chain connector for T-Type Flattop chains and is not interchangeable with standard Eagle PowerLock links. T-Type Flattop chains have machined flat outer plates that create the precise engagement profile the Eagle Transmission system uses for under-load shifting. The connector link must match that flat outer plate geometry to maintain the chain's surface continuity at the joint. A standard Eagle PowerLock will physically fit a Flattop chain, but the outer plate height difference at the link disrupts the flat top profile and can cause skipping or reduced shift quality exactly where the chain closes. If you are running any T-Type Transmission build, this is the only connector link that keeps the system performing as it was designed to. This 4-pack covers multiple chain replacements on one build or across a fleet of bikes. Installation is tool-free in the closing direction: snap it closed under chain tension and it locks. Removal requires chain link pliers because the redesigned link halves grip more securely than previous PowerLock designs. Compatible with all SRAM Eagle T-Type Flattop chains including XX SL, XX, X0, GX, and Eagle 70.
