SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type Trigger Shifter — 12-Speed, Right Hand, Integrated Clamp, Black

This is the mechanical SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type trigger shifter, built specifically for Transmission-equipped bikes that use cable-actuated T-Type drivetrains. It delivers precise shifting under load with updated lever ergonomics and SRAM’s revised T-Type cable actuation—bringing Transmission performance to a mechanical setup. Key Functional Details Right-hand trigger shifter for SRAM T-Type drivetrains 12-speed mechanical operation Integrated handlebar clamp Double-click downshift for pedal-assist (non-eMTB) bikes Revised T-Type cable pull for precise gear engagement Updated lever position for improved control and ergonomics Best-in-class friction management for smooth shifting Includes Shift Housing / Brake Hose cockpit clip Black finish Compatibility & Technical Notes Compatible ONLY with SRAM T-Type / Transmission rear derailleurs Designed for 12-speed SRAM Transmission systems Right-hand shifter only Integrated clamp mounting (not MatchMaker) Double-click version is NOT compatible with e-MTB — e-MTB requires single-click variant NOT compatible with legacy Eagle (GX/X01/XX1 non–T-Type) NOT compatible with Shimano drivetrains Service / Ownership Context This shifter is built for riders who want mechanical Transmission shifting with clean cockpit routing and strong performance under load. Proper cable routing and housing quality matter—Transmission systems are sensitive to friction. Fit & Use Signals Good Fit: SRAM Transmission trail and enduro bikes running mechanical T-Type drivetrains (non-eMTB). Not A Fit: e-MTB Transmission bikes (needs single-click version), legacy Eagle systems, or Shimano setups. This is Transmission only. Not standard Eagle. Biggest mistake: customers try pairing this with GX/X01 Eagle derailleur. Won’t work. This is the double-click version — NOT for e-bikes. Motor bikes need the single-click shifter. Cable routing matters a lot. Bad housing kills shift quality fast. Feels lighter at the lever than older Eagle shifters. Integrated clamp keeps cockpit simple but doesn’t play with MatchMaker. Riders notice better shifting under load compared to old mechanical Eagle. Common complaints come from people buying the wrong version for their e-bike. Who this is really for: mechanical Transmission trail bikes. Who should avoid: e-MTB riders or anyone not on T-Type. Mechanic advice: confirm Transmission derailleur before selling, use quality housing, avoid tight bends, and teach riders to ease pedal pressure even though Transmission handles load better.
