This is the e-MTB version of the SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type shifter. It is designed specifically for motor-assisted bikes running SRAM Transmission drivetrains. This single-click trigger limits downshifts to one gear at a time to protect the drivetrain from high motor torque. If your bike has a motor, this is the shifter you need. If your bike does NOT have a motor, do NOT buy this version. Use the standard double-click Eagle 70 shifter instead. Limiting shifts to one gear at a time prevents cassette shock and derailleur damage under motor power. Proper housing routing is critical for smooth operation. Fit & Use Signals Good Fit: SRAM Transmission e-MTB bikes using mechanical T-Type drivetrains. Not A Fit: Any non-motor bike, legacy Eagle systems, or Shimano drivetrains. This is the e-bike shifter. Single click only. Same body as the acoustic version, but internals limit downshifts to protect drivetrain. If customer buys this for non-motor bike they’ll complain it “won’t shift fast.” If customer buys double-click for e-bike they’ll destroy cassette. Transmission only. Won’t work with GX/X01 Eagle. Cable routing matters a lot. Always confirm motor before selling.
