SRAM / Avid Code Disc Brake Pads – Sintered Compound

These are sintered disc brake pads designed for SRAM and Avid Code brake systems, built for riders who need strong braking performance and better heat resistance. They’re well suited for heavier bikes, higher speeds, and long descents where organic pads can fade or wear quickly. This is a solid option for aggressive trail, enduro, and e-bike use where durability and consistent power matter more than absolute quietness. Key Features • Sintered brake compound for high heat tolerance • Strong, consistent braking under sustained load • Better performance in wet and muddy conditions • Longer service life than organic pads • Steel backing plate for durability Compatibility & Use Notes • Pad Style ID: 39 • Compatible with: – Avid Code (2011–2016) – SRAM Code R – SRAM Code RSC – SRAM Guide RE • Sintered pad material • Steel backing plate • Not compatible with calipers using a different pad shape Service / Ownership Context Sintered pads are designed to run hotter and last longer, which makes them ideal for demanding riding. They can be noisier than organic pads, especially when cold, and may increase rotor wear. Proper bed-in is important to prevent glazing and ensure consistent braking. Fit & Use Signals • You ride aggressively or descend frequently • You run heavier bikes or e-bikes • You want maximum heat resistance and pad life • Not a fit if you prioritize the quietest braking • Not a fit if your brake uses a different pad shape
