Sapphire Balance Pro — SR38 6mm Yoga Mat (Easy-Clean)

SR38 6mm Blue Non-Slip Yoga Mat — Confident Grip, Cushioned Comfort, Easy-Care Build Power up your practice on a mat that’s equal parts bold and dependable. The SR38 Yoga Mat layers a rich blue finish over studio-ready performance: a textured non-slip surface for trustworthy traction, joint-friendly 6 mm (¼") cushioning, and a durable build that’s anti-tear, washable, and designed for daily flow. It’s sized to the classic 24" × 72" × 1/4" footprint and constructed from PVC that’s phthalate- and latex-free, then digitally printed with UV-cured inks so color stays crisp session after session. List price on the product page: $65. Yune Yoga+1 Why you’ll love SR38 6 mm comfort—without the wobble Too thin and your joints complain; too plush and balance suffers. Around 6 mm is the versatile “sweet spot” many gear guides point to for all-purpose practice—soft enough for kneeling and seated work while staying stable for standing flows and single-leg poses. For thickness trade-offs (cushion vs. stability) and when to add a towel, see REI’s Expert Advice. Recent roundups also note that thicker mats can help sensitive wrists and knees. REISELF Grippy, non-slip texture From Down Dog to low lunges, SR38’s subtly textured top helps reduce sliding so you can focus on breath and alignment—not on re-centering your hands and feet. The surface is moisture-resistant, making quick wipe-downs after class a breeze. Yune Yoga Built to last (and easy to clean) Daily unrolls and sweaty sessions? No problem. SR38 pairs anti-tear durability with straightforward upkeep: wipe with mild soap and water, then air-dry completely before rolling. For periodic deep cleans, REI’s step-by-step method (gentle soak, light scrub, rinse, full air-dry) keeps mats fresh longer. Yune YogaREI Thoughtful materials Made from PVC that’s phthalate- and latex-free (also free of heavy metals) and UV-cured for long-wearing color—a smart combo for home practice and shared studios alike. Yune Yoga+1 How SR38 supports your practice Whether you’re generating heat in vinyasa, dialing in slow mobility, cross-training with Pilates, or easing into restorative holds, SR38 provides a soft-yet-stable base. The 6 mm profile eases pressure on knees, wrists, and hips while preserving ground feel for balance work. If you practice hot, layer a full-length yoga towel—a machine-washable sweat barrier that enhances traction and keeps your mat fresher between deep cleans. Harvard Health highlights yoga’s benefits for flexibility, strength, balance, and back comfort, along with stress reduction—solid reasons to keep your routine consistent. Harvard Health Care & cleaning (quick routine + deeper refresh) After class: Wipe the mat with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap; air-dry completely before rolling so moisture isn’t trapped. (SR38’s moisture-resistant finish makes this quick and effective.) Yune Yoga Occasional deep clean: REI recommends a lukewarm soak + light scrub + thorough rinse, followed by a full air-dry—especially helpful for thicker mats. REI DIY between-session spray: Mix witch hazel or vinegar with water at about a 1:4 ratio, mist lightly, wipe, and allow to dry. (An easy, budget-friendly refresh.) REI Hot-class tip: A towel on top not only improves grip when you sweat—it also reduces abrasion, helping your mat look great longer. For most practitioners, 6 mm balances comfort and stability: it cushions joints while still letting you feel grounded.
