Although vintage in appearance these bulbs are used in modern and industrial lighting. Filaments are strung up and down around a glass column to create the cage inside the bulb. When lit, filaments produce a vivid, art-like form. The very visual nature of these "squirrel cage" light bulbs complements modern, mid-century and historic lighting. Whether using as a single light bulb, on wall lamps or on hanging fixtures the results are dramatic as these bulbs create a luminous ambiance. Standard base fits standard lamp sockets.
