A tribute to the double-bound body Esquire® models of the late ’50s and ’60s, the Classic Vibe™ Custom Esquire creates incredible tone courtesy of its Fender Designed™ alnico single-coil bridge pickup. An innovative feature of the day, the 3-position blade switch provides versatile tone settings including tone control bypass, variable tone control, as well as a pre-set tone capacitor for bass-y warmth. This throwback Squier® model also features period-inspired headstock markings, rich-looking nickel-plated hardware and a slick vintage-tint gloss neck finish for an old-school vibe. CASE/GIG BAG: Not Included. More DOUBLE-BOUND BODY The top and back body binding is a hallmark feature of Telecasters and Esquires from the late 1950s and 1960s. FENDER DESIGNED PICKUP Designed in-house at Fender, this pickup is made with alnico magnets to create authentic Fender tone. 3-WAY TONE SWITCHING A control that typically selects between multiple pickups, this 3-way switch provides tone shaping from a single pickup design. VINTAGE-TINTED NECK With gloss finish for slick playing feel, this neck has a subtle tint for a throwback look. NICKEL-PLATED HARDWARE Nickel hardware has a warm, radiant appearance that adds to the vintage charm.
