Moon Square Pillow Cover

The Moon Square Pillow is embroidered on one side with a stunning geometric tatreez design. Tatreez, which means embroidery in Arabic, is an important part of Palestinian cultural heritage. Crafted and stitched with care by women artisans from the West Bank, each creation is 100% handmade. Locally sourced materials are used to create pieces that are truly authentic and Palestinian-made. As part of their mission to supply ongoing skills training, Darzah artisans learn this unique Palestinian embroidery. Made of a cotton blend fabric with an envelope closure this cover is machine washable (gentle cycle). Measurements: 18” x 18” Pillow insert not included.  A Fair Trade certified brand, Darzah is committed to providing employees fair working wages and conditions. The artisans are women from the West Bank who have historically endured marginalization in the form of low-income, gender inequality, and lack of economic opportunities. Darzah’s mission is to economically empower these women by providing job opportunities, training, and a fair income.
