Evno SPX2 Soprano Microphone (Double Mic Wired System)

The EVNO SPX2 double soprano saxophone microphone system is designed and manufactured by hand in the USA. The microphone is designed specifically for soprano saxophone. A bell mounted setup designed to produce the most natural reproduction of sound possible while allowing for the most gain before feedback.  The double microphone design has a predetermined mix allowing the frequencies over the bell to be greater than the bell to achieve the most natural sound and keep the microphone in phase.  The SPX2 double microphone design includes two elements tuned specifically for soprano and suited to address all the problems that are common in mic’ing a soprano saxophone.  The microphone will allow you to be heard as you sound without coloration, giving the audience a true representation and the most detail of the sound the player works a lifetime to develop.    The SPX2 is the perfect choice from solo performance settings, principal soloist’s in all genres, to high energy horn section bands of all styles.  The system can be used in low to high volume applications without the worry of saturating the element due to volume or high end feedback from surrounding instruments.  The double microphone setup captures all the nuances and subtleties possible from pro level players. The SPX2 is the ideal choice for soprano players playing not only as a principal soloist but saxophone sections alike.  The newly designed clamp allows for perfect placement on the bell of the soprano by putting the upper head of the microphone at the perfect point above the keys and the lower microphone in front of the bell.  The gooseneck allows movement away from the body as needed to accommodate fingers and key movement.  The microphone is easy to clamp on and take off the bell with a spring loaded clamp while always being attached at the perfect height. The clamp is attached with a loaded spring but also includes a reinforcement screw and locking nut if your movement on stage is extreme. With the reinforcement screw not active, the setup can be moved quickly from one horn to another.  The SXCL clamp allows the player to use the same clamp with the Evno SX tenor, alto, and baritone saxophone microphone as needed with the SX tenor, alto and Bari microphone.  The SPX2 stay flex gooseneck, designed in the USA, holds position as desired while being lightweight in design.  The microphone itself is built with perfect venting as well as a highly attractive machining process creating a beautiful look while allowing the frequencies of the instrument to fully be captured by the microphone itself.  Suspended in a standard variable 7 point ring, the microphone allows for simple and easy replacements of the O rings as needed.  The microphone body is terminated with a 3 pin mini XLR connection which is used for both wired and wireless connections.     The microphone system can be used wired or wirelessly.  The Evno SPX2 is shipped with the PS95 power supply for wired use while still being adaptable and ready to use with Evno, Shure, AKG, or Sennheiser wireless systems.    (AKG and Sennheiser cables sold separately to mate the microphone with another brand wireless or available in a package with the microphone and cable for customers who already own an Evno, AKG, Shure, or Sennheiser system.) The included cable with the SPX2 model works both with the Evno PS95  power adapter, and Shure wireless transmitters.  By-pass the cable to connect the Evno A1 clip-on transmitter for beltpack-free operation. Optional packages include the SPX2 with Evno Wireless systems or order the SPX2 microphone setup directly for use with Shure, AKG, or Sennheiser.   The complete Evno SPX2 setup includes an Evno PS95 power supply / preamp, Evno SXCL Clamp, SPX2 Microphone, cable and a cable.  XLR cables to connect from the PS95 power supply to a mixing console not included. A standard XLR / Mic cable is required.
