Spud Hooker Straps

Spud Hooker Straps   The Spud Inc Hooker Straps were developed to solve a common problem for athletes who use a hook grip during training. While the hook grip is one of the strongest and most secure grip methods available, thumb fatigue and discomfort can often limit training before the larger muscle groups are fully challenged. Unlike traditional lifting straps that completely bypass grip development, the Hooker Straps are specifically designed to work with your hook grip. Worn around the thumbs, they provide targeted support at the point where many hook grip lifters experience failure. This allows athletes to continue training heavy while maintaining proper hook grip positioning throughout the set. Whether you're a powerlifter pulling heavy deadlifts, an Olympic weightlifter performing snatches and cleans, or a strength athlete focused on improving pulling performance, the Hooker Straps help extend productive training without abandoning the hook grip technique you've worked hard to develop. Constructed from durable woven nylon, these straps are built to withstand years of heavy use while remaining lightweight and easy to carry in any gym bag. Their simple design allows for quick setup and reliable performance whenever grip becomes the limiting factor. The Hooker Straps offer the best of both worlds—continued hook grip practice combined with added support when training intensity rises. Instead of switching completely to conventional straps, athletes can continue reinforcing proper grip mechanics while pushing through demanding training sessions. Built around the values of Focus, Trust, and Strength, the Spud Inc Hooker Straps help lifters train harder, hold onto heavier weights, and continue developing a stronger hook grip.
