Spud Front Squat Harness

Spud Front Squat Harness   The Spud Inc Front Squat Harness was designed to help athletes maximize the versatility of their belt squat machine while gaining many of the benefits traditionally associated with front squats. By shifting the load through the harness rather than a barbell, athletes can target the quads, core, and upper back without placing unnecessary stress on the hips, shoulders, wrists, or spine. The harness rests comfortably across the chest and shoulders, encouraging the upright torso position that makes front squats such an effective lower-body exercise. This upright posture increases quad involvement while challenging the abdominal muscles and upper back to maintain proper positioning throughout the movement. For athletes dealing with mobility restrictions, shoulder discomfort, or spinal loading concerns, the Front Squat Harness provides an excellent alternative to traditional barbell front squats. It allows athletes to train hard while minimizing the wear and tear often associated with heavy barbell work. Like all Spud Inc products, versatility was a major design priority. While ideal for front squat variations on a belt squat machine, the harness can also be used for good mornings, pin-loaded squats, and a variety of creative lower-body training movements. Pair it with the Spud Inc Strap Loading Pin for free-weight squat variations when a belt squat machine is unavailable. Constructed from heavy-duty woven nylon and designed to accommodate athletes of all sizes, the Front Squat Harness is built to withstand years of demanding training. The included 2-foot chain allows for quick setup and compatibility with a wide variety of belt squat systems. Built around the values of Focus, Trust, and Strength, the Spud Inc Front Squat Harness helps athletes build stronger legs, a stronger core, and improved squat performance while training smarter.
