Spud Bowtie Formal Red

Spud Bowtie Formal Red   The Spud Inc Formal Bowtie was created for athletes who demand greater support, stronger posture reinforcement, and improved upper-body positioning during training. Developed by world-record powerlifter and strength coach Donnie Thompson, the Formal Bowtie has become a trusted tool for lifters looking to improve performance while maintaining proper alignment. By applying firm compression across the shoulders, lats, and upper back, the Formal Bowtie helps athletes establish and maintain stronger positioning throughout training sessions. The increased support encourages proper posture, improves body awareness, and helps reinforce the upper-back tightness required for heavy squats, bench presses, and other strength movements. Unlike the Casual Bowtie, the Formal version is constructed from sturdier materials that provide greater compression and support. This makes it the preferred choice for athletes performing heavy training sessions where maintaining proper position becomes increasingly important as the weight gets heavier. Beyond the gym, the Formal Bowtie can also help reduce slouching and encourage better posture during daily activities. Whether you're standing, walking, coaching, or attending an event, the Bowtie serves as a constant reminder to keep the shoulders back and maintain proper upper-body alignment. Many athletes find that improved posture directly contributes to stronger lifting mechanics. Better shoulder positioning can improve bench press setup, squat bar placement, and overall upper-back stability, helping athletes train with greater confidence and consistency. Built around the values of Focus, Trust, and Strength, the Spud Inc Formal Bowtie helps athletes establish better movement habits and stronger positions both inside and outside the gym.
