This is a Metal Ring. It holds a Sprouting Screen in place, by screwing onto a Wide-Mouth Mason Jar. We include Plastic Rings with our Sprouting Screen Lids, but offer these individually for those who need additional Rings, or prefer metal. This Ring can be used in conjunction with a Wide-Mouth Mason Jar. These Rings are prone to rust, and will cause your Screens to rust, in time. We also sell Plastic Rings for those who don't like rust.
