SPRO Swimbait 80

The SPRO Swimbait 80 Slow Sink is built for anglers targeting trophy largemouth bass and other big fish feeding on larger forage. At 8″ and 5 oz, this is a true big-bait swimbait with the size and presence to draw in large predators, including largemouth bass, pike, and striped bass. Originally known in the swimbait world as part of SPRO’s BBZ-1 lineup, the SPRO Swimbait 80 has earned a long-standing reputation as a serious big-bait option for trophy largemouth bass. Its large profile, lifelike finishes, and realistic swimming action make it a confidence bait for anglers who want to commit to chasing bigger bites. The Slow Sink version gives you a controlled subsurface presentation with a fall rate of 1 ft every 2 seconds. Fish it with a steady retrieve to show off its natural swim, pause it to let it sink into the strike zone, or add twitches and directional changes to trigger fish that are following but not committing. This bait is made to look like a real meal, move with confidence, and get attention from fish that are worth the cast.
