Spring Tote

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a beautifully crafted tote in soft, inviting pastels. Perfectly sized for a trip to the farmer's market or for carrying your favorite book or crafting essentials to your next class. This project was designed by Jodi Ybarra for Easy Weaving with Little Looms Spring 2025.  Weave structure: plain weave  Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons       Equipment needed:  Rigid heddle loom; 11” weaving width, 12 or 12.5 dent reed, 1 pick-up stick, 2 shuttles. Other supplies needed: sewing thread, lightweight fusible interfacing (optional).  Finished size:  30" bag fabric. Finished bag size 9" x 13.5 with a 16" strap length. Instructions needed: Easy Weaving with Little Looms Spring 2025, pages 37, 48-49. This kit includes all the yarns, lining fabric, and cotton canvas straps needed to weave and assemble this tote. You can add lightweight fusible interfacing if you want a sturdier tote.
