A carousel, a toy car, and a girl in a botanical dress bring the 'Paradise' philosophy of folk art into a modern play space. The upside-down figure and the oversized pear represent a playful imagination that breaks free from reality. The soft pink backdrop infuses any room with warm, positive energy, reminding us of the whimsical world we once inhabited. Curator's Note Not just for a child’s room, but for any adult who nurtures their 'inner child.' Experience the power of Haeyak (traditional Korean humor) that brings a smile to your face every time you look at it. What is Haeyak? More than just a simple joke or humor, Haeyak refers to a "muscle of optimism." It is the wisdom of transforming life’s hardships or rigid formalities into a relaxed, witty, and unpretentious attitude. Artist, Kyungran Yeo Kyungran Yeo is a Korean ceramic artist. Her tableware, which are the result of her contemplation of the fundamental ‘use’ of the craft, create a natural and beautiful harmony with everything they contain.    Minhwa Collection Kyungran draws inspiration from Minhwa (Korean folk painting), a tradition rich with auspicious symbols of fortune, joy, and prosperity. Tigers, magpies, rabbits, and peonies—each carrying centuries of meaning—are reimagined through her unique artistic language. On her ceramics, these motifs are hand-painted with meticulous care, turning each vessel into a piece that elevates both everyday meals and special gatherings. Her digital drawings, meanwhile, reveal another dimension of her practice, offering a timeless encounter with beauty and symbolism. Blending tradition with contemporary sensibility, Yeo’s works embody a quiet elegance that resonates far beyond their form.
