Insert the spring ring onto the small diameter of the tool. Move the spring ring toward toward the larger diameter of the tool and the ring will open and expand. Position the tool over the back end of the headgear and hold firmly. With thumb nail, push the spring ring over the edge and spring ring will snap onto the proper location on headgear. Made of stainless steel.
