Coverage: Each bottle of the Lawnifi Spring Fertilizer Box will cover 5,000 square feet. So the entire box is meant to help a lawn of around 5,000 sq ft thrive throughout the Spring. APPLICATION SCHEDULE Make the first application of MAINTAIN any time in the first few weeks of spring. Apply the second application of BOOST four weeks following your initial application. Four weeks following your last application, apply MAINTAIN before beginning your summer fertilizer maintenance program. For best results, apply Maintain when spring green-up begins and your lawn is transitioning out of winter dormancy. From there: Apply Boost 4 weeks after Maintain to deepen the green appearance of your lawn Apply the second bottle of Maintain 4 weeks after Boost to help your lawn prepare for warmer temperatures and summer stress. Use the chart below to help identify the right timing for your region. Important Tips: Space all applications at least 4 weeks apart. Apply the first Maintain when soil temps begin climbing into the 55–60°F range and you see signs of green-up. Avoid fertilizing before grass actively greens, as nutrients won’t be effectively absorbed. Georgia Early to Mid-March Early to Mid-April Early to Mid-May Southern Georgia often greens in early March, while northern areas and the Piedmont may not fully green until late March or early April. Carolinas Mid to Late March Mid to Late April Mid to Late May Coastal Carolinas can start a week or two earlier than the inland and piedmont areas. Southern California Mid to Late March Mid to Late April Mid to Late May Warm coastal areas green up very early; inland areas may lag a couple of weeks. Northern California Late March to Mid-April Mid-April to Early May Early May to Late May Inland and mountain areas green up more slowly—follow the later side of this range.
