Spring Dance

This delightful pendant features a Hummingbird floating in the curving branch of a Cherry Tree filled with blossoms. The lovely flowers are a reminder of the freshness of new life and the hope and promise of Spring. Cherry blossoms become fruit, which in turn becomes seeds, and so this symbol also represents regentration. Hummingbirds symbolize deep qualities, despite their small size.  They are known for their tenacity and strength, flying thousands of miles to migrate. They are also fierce defenders of their homes, and will protect their patch of garden with the energy of a much larger animal.  The ability that Hummingbirds have in flight are unparalleled. They can hover, zoom faster than the eye can see, and even fly backward! This makes them a symbol of ingenuity and skill even though they are some of the smallest birds in the avian world. Pendant is 1+1/8" tall x 1" wide x 1/8" thick, not including the bail where the chain goes through. It is shown on the 1.7 mm Mini Cable chain. Please note that the chain is sold separately. Other chain styles available.
