Purple Irises

This 12x12 inch acrylic painting on canvas depicts a cluster of purple irises against a soft golden yellow background. The flowers are painted with bold, expressive brushstrokes, layering deep blues, purples, and hints of magenta with accents of teal and lighter blue highlights. The leaves and stems are rendered in vibrant greens with touches of darker shades, creating a dynamic contrast with the blossoms. The brushwork is loose and textured, giving the piece an impressionistic quality, while the warm background enhances the vibrancy of the irises, making them the central focus of the composition. This original acrylic painting is presented on a 1.5” gallery-wrapped canvas, where the artwork extends seamlessly onto the edges. The canvas has been varnished to ensure protection and longevity. May use a dry or clean damp rag to dust. It comes equipped with a wire on the back, making it convenient and effortless to hang right away. Please note, frame not included.
