Universal Splitter Diffuser Tunnels

⦿ PRE-ORDER: 4-6 WEEKS Looking to add additional front grip, corner faster, and brake shorter? The Racebred Components Universal Splitter Diffuser Tunnels were designed to help increase front downforce on a standard flat splitter. Using 3D modeling and CFD analysis, we adopted a proven methodology of a dimpled surface; reminiscent of a golf ball, to help glide air across the diffuser tunnel surface, increasing the low-pressure zone further forward, resulting in improved downforce and decreased drag. Our Dimpled Splitter Diffuser Tunnels are built to last – just like our splitters. Manufactured from injection molded polyurethane, these tunnels are designed for long term abuse and will not crack or shatter like ABS plastic or fiberglass and will continue to perform in the harshest race environments.  WHY THE DIMPLES? Simply put, adding dimples moves the low-pressure zone forward and encourages the air to have an increased attachment versus a smooth surface, which results in increased downforce. Placing dimples on a surface will increase the friction drag but will reduce the pressure drag by having the turbulent boundary layer attached further before separation. FEATURES: CFD Designed / Optimized Approximate 12% Downforce Increase @ 100MPH* Injection Molded Polyurethane Pre-Drilled Mounting Holes Bolt-On Design Superior Strength/Durability Universal Fitment 13” L x 9.4” W x 1.7” H (6.2” W at trailing edge) .875” Mounting Flange 0.5lbs (Per Tunnel) WHATS INCLUDED: Dimpled Diffuser Tunnels (Left and Right) Zinc Coated Hardware Pack Cutting/Drilling Templates PRODUCTION TIMELINE: Made to order 3-4 weeks DISCLAIMER: Splitter Diffuser Tunnels will exponentially increase downforce. Additional chassis mounting and splitter reinforcement is required. *CFD analysis was simulated using a ready-state scenario. Numerical figures shown are results from in-house parameters and may differ from other models due to a number of variances involved. These simulations were used to gather and optimize overall vehicle performance, which were then track tested and validated with driver data and results.  All Racebred Components products are manufactured for off-road use and are not intended for use on public streets. Unless otherwise noted, all Racebred Components products are designed to be used for the application stated and or accompanying Racebred Components parts. Due to the nature of racing, all variances in conditions and use cannot be foreseen and therefore the safety of any person associated with use of our products is out of our control and we cannot be held liable for said event or any product failures due to unforeseen events or improper use or abuse. All brackets and splitters are to be chassis mounted and cannot be bumper fastened. Depending on bumper design, splitter size, material or diffuser tunnels attachments, additional bracing with cables or rods may be required and is left to users discretion. Due to frame variances, fitment modifications or trimming may be necessary.
