Split Pear Earrings

These drop hoop Split Pear Earrings are made to delight with its unique design with a silver strike between the crystals. Mosaico is the product of more than 40 years of experience, creativity and teamwork. David Mercer migrated to Mexico from the U.S. at an early age, searching for his real passion. While traveling, he came upon a beautiful little town called Taxco, where he discovered silversmithing, a craft that has been passed from generation to generation for more than 200 years. It was in this beautiful place that he met his future wife, Gloria Higuera, who was born in Mexico City. She came from an artistic background, studying arts and living in Prague for 5 years. Together they combined talents to create something new. Each piece is created and set by hand by talented artisans in Guadalajara, Mexico. First, a silver bessel is created and perfectly polished up to a mirror reflection. Then begins the process of hand setting pearls, dichroic glass, and Austrian crystals into the bessel, creating a fusion of colors into a unique design. Dimensions: 1 1/4"
