Plant seeds on the surface of well-draining seed starting mix and press lightly into the soil, as they need light to germinate. Once seedlings have 2-3 sets of leaves, transplant them into individual pots. For the best foliage color, provide bright indirect light. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged.
