Orders ship from Turin, Italy with a lead time of 2-3 weeks. Spirit Torino’s Valkyria is the project of a perfectionist who took a “whatever it takes” approach. Spirit’s proprietary dual isobaric system, alongside ten powerful magnets, take Valkyria straight to cloud 7. This LaFerrari among headphones is limited to just a few dozen units worldwide, so if you’re looking for something extremely exclusive, here it is. Pair this gem of a headphone with something truly amazing like our CFA3 for an out of this world sound! Valkyria Titanium is limited to 99 units worldwide, all hand built in Italy, and shipped direct. “From the first moment I put the headset on my head, I had a clear feeling: I wanted to hear more, perceive every sound perspective, until I could get to the very essence of the music found but this research cannot be limited to technical aspects, because music touches our soul and there are no tools to measure it.” – Andrea Ricci Strictly limited titanium sculpture The product features a titanium sculpture for the most powerful twin pulse motor ever built. Every aspect of this project was designed for a single purpose: to establish a new headphone listening standard regardless of the technology used. The two turret drives, with their extraordinary weight to performance ratio, are each generated by ten strong neodymium magnets. These are arranged in such a way that concentrates the entire magnetic flux on the voice coil. Also, the patented isobaric power supply limits the audible noise of electronic components to help achieve an absolutely black background, which is necessary for the pairing to sound its best. The new Grade 5 titanium frame is a highlight of our inertial frame concept with twice the rigidity compared to our previous frames. This enables an impressive acoustic focus and three-dimensionality of the sound. The light and very flexible Valkyria cables also deserve a chapter of their own. The precious audio signal is carried by a double wire structure, which is completely symmetrical, and consists of a circumferential braid of 16 pure silver cables. Also, the coaxial core is made of OFC copper per channel, with a total of 36 cables that are soldered directly to the turret drives. This ensures that no efficiency is lost in the transport of current. The internal connection between the drives is made by using silver cables with the appropriate cross-section. The connections to the amplifier are either standard 4-pin XLR or twin 3-pin XLR with the best rhodium-plated Canon Furutech terminations. The entire Valkyria system contributes to a listening experience that is unmatched in terms of transparency, resolution, speed, dynamics, timbre, three-dimensionality, and natural sound reproduction.
