About the image: Spiral is a limited edition of 250 images. In 2010 during the middle of a Chicago winter, I found myself wondering if I could bring a little warmth to the apartment by placing some tropical images on my walls. I looked at my stock of images and noticed that I had nothing that stood out. This surprised me because I grew up in Puerto Rico and took that beauty for granted. Since then, I have been photographing conservation and botanical garden to produce this bodywork titled “Delicates Series”. In 2016 I captured “Spiral” which is the fourth fan palm leaf in my image collection. The one thing that keep me seeing in my series how magnificent is nature and we should try to preserve it and certainly never take it for granted. Facts and Questions About Metal Prints
