Spin the Globe, Developing a Heart for the Nations

By Aimee Murphy & Melissa Crowson, Illustrated by Shawn Finley Discover the joy of learning about the world and the people God made in it. In Spin the Globe, a young boy overcomes his fear of how big the world is by learning about other countries and their people through a fun-filled family game. Mother-daughter duo Aimee Murphy and Melissa Murphy Crowson help children see that the world isn’t as big as they thought by reassuring young readers that God is always around. Enabling children to see that they can take any question or need to God through prayer, Murphy and Crowson employ Bible verses to help illustrate God’s enduring love for each one of his people. Inspiring parents to talk about the importance of Christian outreach with their children, they invite readers to play a round of Spin the Globe and discover the joy of learning about the world and the people God created and loves and the value of prayer. While the book is intended for young children, it doubles as a fun and engaging game for the whole family, one that will become a cherished tradition not just for the Murphys but for many more families to come.
