Reusable Whole House Spin Down Sediment Water Filter 50 Micron

Item model number WD-RPFK Working pressure 14.5-72 psi/ 0.1-0.5 Mpa Operating temperature 41-100°F/5-38℃ Feed water recommendation Multiple tap water or centralized water supply Flow rate 20 GPM What is a spin down water filter? A spin down water filter is designed for filtering large particulate like sand, rust, etc. This spin down sediment water filter is the first line of protecting our drinking water. How does a spin down sediment filter work? Waterdrop spin down sediment water filter works by using centripetal force to separate the sediment from the water. The design of this spin down water filter push the dirt and debris to the transparent shell and separate the clean water. Reduce the workload of your existing water filters with our sediment filter. Does this spin down sediment water filter affect water flow rate? This water filter ensures a steady stream of tap water in your household, allowing you to enjoy up to 20 GPM (gallons per minute) of water flow. Install it without worrying about the throttling pressure level of your home’s water supply. Is this spin down sediment water filter lead-free? Yes. The main components are brass and plastic. And this heavy-duty plastic housing has passed a variety of voltage, explosion, pressure, and impact tests, providing a long life span. Can this spin down filter be mounted either vertical or horizontal? Either way is ok with this spin down filter. But we recommend being mounted vertical. Will this spin down sediment water filter lower the TDS of well water? No. Waterdrop spin down filter can only filter out large particulate like sand, rust, etc. If you want to reduce TDS, you can choose our RO water filter system. How does the back-washing function of this reusable water filter work? This reusable water filter system is equipped with a flush valve, when customers turn on the valve, the internal waterways will flush the steel grid mesh backward. Once the reusable filter gets saturated with sediment, all you need to do is applying the innovative backwash function. Regular flushing will also help extend the lifespan of the filter. Can I use this pre-filtration system after a water heater? The operating temperature of Waterdrop spin down sediment water filter is 41-100 degrees Fahrenheit. This cannot be connected after a water heater but can be used before heating equipment. How much is the rated input water pressure of the spin down sediment water filter? The input pressure is rated for 14.5-72 psi. Can this spin down water filter be used outdoor? Only if you keep the water pressure between 14.5-72 psi and the temperature between 41-100°F. 316L molybdenum alloy filter It is designed to trap impurities and keep them from reaching your home's water supply. Backwash function Compared with the ordinary filters, this backwash spin-down sediment filtration system can flush out more sediments trapped on the filter screen. Enjoy up to 20 GPM of the water flow Will not throttle pressure level of your home’s water supply. Selected material The sediment filter is housed in a non-BPA, German-made PA12 shell, which has been subjected to rigorous voltage, pressure, explosion, and prolonged water hammer impact tests. Easy installation This whole house sediment filter takes just a few minutes to install and is designed to fit 4 types of water tubes. Whole house protection It is designed to trap impurities and keep them from reaching your home’s water supply.
