Spike Dining Table by Midj

The Spike Dining Table by Midj, designed by Giulio Iacchetti, is a bold expression of modern Italian design that marries geometric simplicity with sculptural sophistication. At its core is a striking cylindrical base made of painted or galvanized metal, available in a wide range of finishes—from neutral tones to vibrant, statement colors. Topped with a sleek glass surface, either transparent or smoked, the table creates a visual interplay of solidity and lightness. The connector hidden beneath the glass top enhances the illusion of a floating surface, reinforcing the table’s minimalist ethos. Recognized with the Archiproducts Design Award in 2022, Spike exemplifies Midj’s commitment to quality craftsmanship and innovative design. Available in both rectangular and round formats, it fits effortlessly into contemporary dining settings, serving as both a functional centerpiece and a conversation piece. Iacchetti’s vision was to distill the dining table to its most essential forms—cylinder and rectangle—while still delivering a product that feels elevated, intentional, and unmistakably modern.
