Spider Plant Variegated

Houseplant fans rely on the strappy Spider Plant to add a long, vertical accent to an indoor garden. Hung from a sturdy ceiling hook, it develops into an attractive, arching specimen: strappy leaves erupt up, out and then down from the center of the plant, each one carrying a wide, creamy white stripe down its center. Hang it in a wide corner a bit out of direct sunlight and watch it develop the cutest little baby plantlets on long, modified stems. Trim them to start new plants or leave them on for a fuller, lusher look. It also happens to be one of the few common houseplants that is genuinely pet safe. See our guide to bringing the garden indoors for more pet friendly picks, or browse the full houseplant collection. Arrives in an 8 inch hanging basket.
