Savory Pecan Shortbread Wafers

Buttery bite. Crisp snap. Cindy's Bits and Pieces grew from a family peanut brittle recipe and took a new turn when Cindy left dentistry after 36 years to build the business full time. She now develops recipes in a commercial kitchen converted from the barn she played in as a child, bringing a distinctly nostalgic spirit to what she calls old fashioned food art. These shortbread wafers are made with Georgia-sourced pecans, giving them a rich, toasty crunch that lands somewhere between a savory cookie and a cocktail nibble. Spicy, citrusy, herby, and nutty variations all share that same buttery crumb and crisp edge, with the kind of flavor that makes the serving plate look mysteriously sparse.
