Electrically charged ions work their way through the cell membrane and spark the assimilation of vital nutrients at the cellular level. This then activates specific enzymes in the metabolic process that aid in balancing pH and helps the sodium-potassium pump function. When this works properly, sodium levels decline, and potassium levels increase within the cell to maintain balance and keep the cells healthy. The sodium, potassium, and chloride found in SpectraMin® are electrolytes that support cell regulation. As a result, proper electrolyte balance is maintained, and energy is created and utilized properly within the body. These three minerals also impact the extracellular matrix, which is one of the body’s communication channels. The extracellular matrix influences the genetic expression of the cells, which regulates cell differentiation and gives the body the necessary tools for wellness.
