The double bead sinks this fly in seconds. A favorite with serious nymph anglers. You will lose a few if fishing correctly, make the commitment to go deep. The peacock herl version is commonly known as the cheeseburger and is beloved amongst those who nymph fish for steelhead. This makes it a favorite of Judge Smails' grandson, Spaulding. Who, while making the turn on the golf course exclaimed, "I want a hamburger, no, a cheeseburger. I want a hot dog, I want a milkshake, I want potato chips...." before his grandfather snipped, "You'll get NOTHING and LIKE IT!"
