speckle mini essential lovie blanket

Our iconic baby blanket, in its purest form and smallest size. This mini tagalong version is a lifesaver when you're on-the-go, or the regular size baby blanket is in the wash. Made of thick and silky-soft cotton gauze that's both warm and breathable. A gift and baby registry favorite going on 15 years, dubbed a "totally worth it" baby purchase by countless parents.  ~~~~~~~~ What makes this blanket great: GOTS-certified cotton - From seed to fiber, and from yarn to loom, this product has tested free from pesticides and other toxins and meets the highest standards for purity. GOTS certification of our fabric ensures that it is genuinely organic, and that the highest level of nontoxic, GOTS-certified agents have been applied in the dyeing and finishing of the final product. Long staple cotton fibers - The yarn used to make the fabric is composed of long staple cotton fibers. Long staple cotton encounters less microscopic breakage over time (longer fiber = stronger fiber). With proper care, your fabric will stay softer over time than cottons made with shorter fiber yarns. Garment dye & wash - This product is sewn prior to being dyed and receiving a final, softening wash. This method produces a richer texture cotton gauze that cannot be achieved if the fabric is fully processed prior to sewing. Small openings in the weave where threads join different layers of fabric together are visible along the entire surface of many other gauzes. Our garment dye and wash method makes this part of the fabric's construction invisible, allowing you to experience a more beautiful surface appearance for the lifetime of your gauze. (Undyed products are not garment dyed; only the garment washed, to achieve final texture.) We thought you might also want to know... This gauze is 25% denser than our previous version, and is overall denser than any other gauze we've encountered. This gauze passed our rigorous test for staying soft and resisting pilling over the course of many launderings. ~~~~~~~~ + Size: 18" x 18" + 100% GOTS certified organic cotton + Composed of 8 breathable layers of cotton gauze + Machine wash cold, delicate cycle.
