Sparco CRW Gloves | Cold & Wet Weather Racing Gloves

Sparco CRW Racing Gloves The Sparco CRW Racing Gloves are purpose-built for drivers competing in cold, damp, and challenging weather conditions. Their thermal neoprene construction helps retain warmth while maintaining the flexibility and steering-wheel feel needed for precise vehicle control. Thermally sealed seams help reduce moisture penetration, while the coated high-grip palm provides dependable traction when rain, spray, and low temperatures make the cockpit more difficult to manage. A flexible nylon and spandex outer layer supports natural hand movement without adding unnecessary bulk. Cold-Weather Protection for Motorsport Low temperatures can reduce hand dexterity, steering sensitivity, and driver comfort. The Sparco CRW Gloves provide added insulation for wet karting sessions, rally stages, autocross events, and other motorsport activities held in cold or unpredictable weather. The close-fitting construction helps preserve control of the steering wheel, paddle shifters, switches, and other cockpit components while providing more warmth than a traditional lightweight driving glove. Thermal Neoprene Construction Flexible neoprene forms the primary thermal layer of the Sparco CRW. The material helps retain body heat while conforming closely to the hand, allowing the driver to maintain a secure and natural grip. Unlike bulky winter gloves, the CRW is designed specifically for driving. Its streamlined shape limits excess material around the fingers and palm, helping preserve steering feedback and cockpit dexterity. Thermally Sealed Seams Thermally sealed seams help limit the entry of water and cold air through the glove construction. This provides improved comfort during light rain, track spray, damp paddock conditions, and low-temperature competition. The sealed design also helps retain warmth inside the glove, allowing the driver to remain focused when weather conditions begin to deteriorate. High-Grip Coated Palm A coated high-grip palm creates a secure connection between the driver and steering wheel. The grip surface is especially beneficial when the cockpit, wheel, or gloves become damp during wet-weather driving. The low-profile coating adds traction without creating excessive thickness, helping the driver retain steering sensitivity while reducing the need to squeeze the wheel tightly. Flexible Nylon and Spandex Outer Layer The exterior coating is constructed from 80% nylon and 20% spandex. This combination provides durability, stretch, and flexibility while allowing the glove to move naturally with the hand. The stretch outer layer supports repeated steering inputs and finger movement without compromising the thermal benefits of the neoprene construction. Elasticized Wrist An elasticized wrist provides a close, secure fit and helps reduce the entry of cold air. The streamlined closure also makes the gloves easy to put on and remove without requiring a bulky external adjustment strap. The extended wrist area provides additional coverage and can overlap with compatible outerwear or driving apparel for improved protection from the elements. Water-Resistant Construction The Sparco CRW Gloves are designed to resist moisture during damp and wet-weather use. Their neoprene materials and sealed seams help keep the hands warmer and more comfortable when exposed to rain or track spray. These gloves should be considered water resistant rather than completely waterproof, particularly during prolonged exposure or full immersion.
