Spanish Moss Egg Box

Spanish Moss Egg Box is a piece full of images which have been sacred to me for many years. The egg forms were some of the first images I painted in my early years as an artist. This cardboard constructed box is filled with beeswax, spanish moss, and the wax egg forms, also made of beeswax, some bleached white, and the rest the natural yellow wax. There is no adhesive or binder used of any kind. You can see the shot on this page of a group of these mixed media wax shadow boxes and icons. They look good either one at a time or in a group like this. Contact me if you're interested in purchasing a selection of these pieces. I'm happy to discuss it and make an arrangement suitable to your needs. Read more about my work in my artist statement, Creating Spiritual Art for the New Millenium and resume.
